Carlos and Maddy are a melding of a Conservatory-trained cellist and a self-taught guitarist and songwriter from Venezuela. They met at an Open Mic in Houston and almost immediately joined forces and found their own sound together. Their music is rich, with natural acoustics and laced with deeply felt sentiments regarding human struggle, safety, worth, and equality.
